Last Year's Garden


Last year we planted a garden in June. It took up a little less than half of the space our new garden will. Here are some pictures from last year:

This is from the day we planted.













On the far right is corn. Planted around each stalk are scarlet runner beans and zucchini. The zucchini got shaded out, and never produced any fruit. Bummer.

On the top left is lots and lots of brussel sprouts. On the bottom left is broccoli. The broccoli turned out the best of everything.









This was the garden towards the end of the season. You can see how space was getting tight.


These are our cherry tomatoes from the front porch after we brought them inside because of the cold.
